This is something new Grotto is doing this weekend..not sure if it's just this weekend or will continue, I just got this in an email from them...

I'd really like to try and make it over there, it sound amazing. I love how passionate they are about their food; all restaurants should be like this:

Powdered Chocolate?
This Saturday & Sunday Grotto begins its lazy afternoon cafe from 3p.m. to 5p.m.. Grotto will offer numerous fresh pressed coffees and teas prepared to order, and served in our relaxing dining room. We will also offer a treat platter containing cookies baked to order. Our wine and cordial list will also be available. "The lazy afternoon cafe" is cross between high tea and the coffee cafes to which the Italians flock in the afternoon to enjoy a hot espresso, tea, or chocolate...Did you say hot chocolate? Powdered chocolate drink mix? We wouldn't dream of it. At Grotto, our hot chocolate is a blend of three Caulibaut chocolates, slowly melted into froth milk. Our mocha contains real chocolate — not something from a package. Grotto believes that, like the food we serve: slow and savory wins the race. We have coffee from Italy, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Jamaica, just to name a few, and additionally we have Darjeeling, Assam, and various loose teas from all over the world. The treat platter includes chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and peanut butter cookies all served hot from the oven. The hot drinks range from 3 to 5 dollars and the treats are 7 dollars and are enough for two to share. Coffees, teas, and hot drinks with an attitude — in a mug, not a paper cup — and no factory-prepared chocolate mixes, reservations are accepted (just try to book a table at Starbuck's)
