Calgarian in Toronto for 2 days - Looking for good eats!

Hello!
I will be in Toronto for the weekend at the end of this month, with my lovely wife (first time in 5 years without our kids).

I have been to Toronto several times (but not in the past 3 years) by myself on business, so I am really looking for a couple places I would enjoy with my wife (ie. good to excellent food, reasonable service and ambience).

Here's the scenario:

1. Saturday, will be going to the Royal Alexander to see Mamma Mia!. Looking for a decent spot in the Entertainment District prior to 8PM showing. Preference is either French, Canadian contemporary, Asian fusion, Japanese or seafood. Budget can be mid to high end - as long as the food is good.

Any suggestions for a good dessert place after the show would also be appreciated.

2. Sunday, thinking about going to Lai Wah Heen for dim sum. Is it worth our time and effort to go? I don't mind spending the money if it is something really unique and tasty.
If not, then is Xacutti's Brunch worth it?

3. Sunday evening is wide open, but I'm not sure which places are open (wanted to go Susur or Scaramouche or Avalon). Thinking Chiado or Tempo or Senses, but I'm open to suggestion here, since there doesn't seem to be much open. Would be a plus if it is near Yorkville, but we have a car, so it is not a requirement. Looking for a unique experience we couldn't get in Calgary.

Any help is definitely appreciated!
