Just purchased a new lunch-type item that comes in a square box similar to the old-style Chinese take-out containers. Similar to the Luck Chen Noodle Bowls, you microwave the noodles in the box itself, after adding a sauce packet. There seem to be four flavors, or at least that's how many I found at Aron's Kissena Farms: Hokkien Noodles with Honey Soy
Ginger Sauce, Hokkien Noodles with Kung Pao Sauce, Noodles Vermicelli with Peanut Satay Sauce, and Pad Thai Noodles with Pad Thai Sauce. I got one of each, but won't try one until tomorrow lunch at the earliest, so I can't report on taste yet. Price was reasonable; each was $2.39.
I know I've seen similar things in treif varieties, but it's the first time I've seen this kosher version. Looks like it will be good for travelling or to bring to work, if you have access to a microwave that you can use.
it's Star-K and bishul yisroel.
By the way, I have no connection whatsoever to the company or anyone selling it.
