It is not a perfect restaurant, but it was very satisfying.
We had a lovely dinner, veal over pasta ragu, with a special soup first, and wild halibut with a salad and ice cream and biscotti for dessert. At first I thought the portions were going to be too small and that I would miss a starch with the halibut. However, all the flavors were very complementary and the amounts per plate were just right.
In the end it was a lovely meal, with appropriately slow service, and NOT one busboy removed any plate until everyone finished eating. This was a problem in the past. I mentioned it when I made a reservation, and they complied with my request to be less rude and more professional.
