Where can I find the best cafe sua da? As of late I've been making them at home, but I'd love to hear some of your opinions (Thi N., this is mainly at you!)
- Lee's is way too sweet
- Kang Lac is way too sweet (used to be my go-to place...I swear they changed their recipe)
- As a matter of fact, Mr. Baugette (sp?), Van's bakery, banh mi cali, are ALL TOO FREAKING SWEET
- the one from Soy Noodle Cafe was the worst tasting cafe sua da I've ever had. I don't even know how to describe it.
- the 2nd worst one was from some vietnamese "cafe" inside the ferry building in SF
The ONLY place I've been able to drink cafe sua da from as of late has been Ba Le Bakery. Maybe I should try these uber vietnamese Cafe's since I hear they make their coffee crazy strong...
