My inlaws will be in town for my wife's 40th and we're thinking of going to Cafe Milano or a restaurant of similar caliber. I don't know much about Milano other than it's a *power meal* place (read: high end & pricey). Can anyone give me a quick rundown of what to expect: quality of meal and service, atmosphere, price/value.
I was also considering Gallileo for dinner but given the recent spate of bad postings about the place I thought it best to avoid it.
As far as other recs that you all might have, please keep in mind that my in laws are fairly unadventurous. When we've eaten with them here we've been to and enjoyed: Restaurant Nora, Taberna del Alabardero and 2941.
Many thanks -
