It reopened a couple weeks ago but because it was such a nice day today I decided to give it a shot. New owners, BTW...
Pretty similiar setup--you fill your plate and they price it based on weight--$3.75 per pound for what's on the buffet or $5.75 per pound if you want to add churrasco (bbq) items.
The salad bar left something to be desired, e.g., only iceberg lettuce as the greens option so I stuck to the hot buffet. As usual, start w/ the white rice and there are 2 choices for beans: black or red. I mixed them up. In the hot buffet there were choices of 2 porks: 1 being a thick bacon and the other was pork loin (I believe). The chicken was goblets. There was also sauerkraut with sausages and another side of what looked like a bread crumb stuffing (not sure of the name). My only complaint is that the meat isn't always freshest tasting this way and is already cooler than I prefer from being out in a tray.
They had 3 meats spinning, 1 being skirt steak, another being chicken, and then some ribs. I'll probably give those a go next time as the chef cuts the meat from the skewer for you.
What I really like about the place is the outdoor seating and that the tables are not on the sidewalk and in a nice mini-park setting. There was a lot of green & yellow since Brazil plays today...
I'm not sure what the dinner menu is or how long they are open until but for lunch, it's another great alternative in this village of many choices...
