Cafe Bizou - Dinner Review

Went to the Sherman Oaks location tonight for dinner with hubby and another couple. Had 8:30 reservations. We got there right on time, but it took another 20 minutes to be seated because they were so busy and didn't have any open tables!

The guys got the bikini martinis (malibu rum, and pineapple) while I got iced tea and friend got coke. I ordered the roast chicken breast, as did friend, my hubby got the rack of lamb (medium rare) and friend's hubby ordered the chicken tequila fettucine. I added the $1 house salad, friend had the french onion soup, and hubby got the seared ahi appetizer. Friend said the soup was ok, salad was fine and hubby loved the ahi. The chicken breast came with a balsamic reduction, mashed potatoes, and asparagus, the lamb came with gratin potatoes, green beans and carrots, and I'm not sure what was in the pasta. Entrees were all great -- I was the only one who had eaten there in the past and everyone said how much they liked the food.

Finished the meal with flourless chocolate cake with raspberry puree for us, and the tiramisu for them. Service was a bit slow, but it was fine since we were chatting anyway. Total bill before tip came to $115.
