i have only been to cafe adam 2 times, last winter for my sisters 40th in december 2009 and last night. LOVED it the first time and reported on here about it and last night it was just as good again.
there were 9 of us, eating & drinking a lot. for apps we had 2 goat cheese tarts, 2 crispy onions, 1 escargot, 1 mussels ( the sauce was to die for ) and 2 winter salads. all delicious. the bread that came when we sat down...it was a dark bread with fruit? i think or nuts? killer....
dinners we had 2 burgers ( HUGE & TASTY ) duck cassoulet, hanger steak, beef tenderloin, beef bourganion (sp?) , veggie rissoto, shrimp pasta, crab stuffed whole trout.
everyone REALLY enjoed their entrees.
i had remembered last year the chocolate dessert was the best chocolate dessert i have ever had...it was on the menu and we got 3 for the table ( chocolate moltano i think its called ) and a pear dessert. the chocolate was still as tasty as i remembered...
all that food, and PLENTY of booze with %20 tip included in the bill : $567 which i really didnt think was too bad. came out to $63 a person, and boy did i eat & drink a lot for that price.
our server could have had a tad more personality, but all & all...loved it and hopefully it wont take another year to get back there.
