So San Diego's favorite fish monger asked for suggestions about this today on Facebook and got a variety of answers. My favorite is the authentic experience at Caesar's in Tijuana, but that doesn't fit the description of "in San Diego". I offered the suggestion of Romesco's since Javier Plascencia's family now owns Caesar's. I think the salad at both of these places is as good as the server that makes it, and they all have a heavy or lighter hand with certain ingredients. What is your fav place in our city for this somewhat local specialty?
p.s. FN - local, upscale, Mexican restaurants that only offer it as a rare Chef's special do not count. ;)
