Last week my husband was in Westwood helping my UCLA-student son move to a new apartment before the young man starts his summer internship at
E! Entertainment Television, and they went todinner at Ca'Brea, a "Venetian" cuisine Italian restaurent we hadn't dined in since 1999.
I was almost afraid the place would be gone, but both were delighted with the delicious meal they'd had.
Happily, my favorite item, the Pumpkin Ravioli, was still on the menu. I found Ca'Brea's the best version of this dish (over Pronto's and Il Fornaio's).
I'm certainly looking forward to a visit to Ca'Brea when I return to Los Angeles this summer!
I also hope to try Angelina's Osteria, too.
