I was at Eataly this week and noticed that a single squab from Pat LaFrieda was a whopping $23.00.
I've seen fresh squab in the Chinatown markets and I wonder if it is any good (livery, somewhat gamey, etc.).
I am not a big fan of D'artagnan squab. Once purchased some fabulous squab from Bo-Bo chicken at the new amsterdam market but they never have it any more.
