So i went to Stew Leonards in Yonkers after work last night to pick up all the ingredients need to cook over the holiday weekend. One of the the meals will be a slow roasted pork shoulder, from this recipe:
Guess what the only thing I could not get from Stew's was? A 3 1/2 pound pork shoulder, boned and tied.
Now that I have invested in the fresh herbs, the wine and the ruby port, I really want to make this meal! I work in Nassau County, LI and I live on the border of Westchester/Fairfield Counties.
I am looking for a butcher that I can order the pork from to pick up today or tomorrow.
