Burts potato chips (or rather crisps) UK

Inspired by Jim's quest for the perfect potato chip I thought that I'd see if anyone else has tried Burts potato chips (I can't remember if they're called chips or crisps on the packet) Anyway, they're made by a family in Devon and we found some in a deli in Bristol at the weekend. The flavour we tried was chilli and lemon and they were really delicious. I find Kettle chips a bit overdone and over greasy but these, which are handcooked/crafted, whatever the marketing phrase is, weren't either of those.

My boyfriend's also seen them in farmer's co-operative style places so I guess that some of the markets in London may sell them. As I've been frequenting Chinatown and Brixton Market instead of delis in town recently I've no idea how widely available they are.

Anyway, should you see them, I'd definitely recommend giving them a try - as a salt and vinegar girl myself I was well impressed.

PS. Jim, I'm not sure what the rules and regulations are but if you'd like to try them and it's okay to send them, I'll post some over.
