Six Burner Bistro: Plymouth, NH

If anyone is visiting Plymouth, NH in the near future, or lives in the area, I would highly recommend they check out the Six Burner Bistro on Main Street. It is a small, chef-owned place with big portions and reasonable prices. They are open for lunch and dinner most days. I recently went to the bistro with my family several times and enjoyed it very much. It is a small establishment, with only about 10 tables. Though the dinner menu stays the same, the chef prepares a new lunch menu daily.
The food is excellent. Fresh seafood, meat grilled perfectly to order, crisp, fresh, al dente vegetables bought earlier in the day from a local farm, homemade mozzarella, homemade soups.
Chef/owner Rob Kelly runs old favorites, but with a twist--Manchego Steak and Cheese, Sesame-Crusted Salmon with Wasabi, Lobster Mac and Cheese, even Cheeseburger Chowder, a favorite of mine that ANYONE will enjoy.
Be prepared to love everything on your plate. The chef takes just as much pride in his side dishes as he does his main courses. The vegetables are always perfectly seasoned, with just enough butter. I had potatoes Au Gratin there that were absolutely to die for, and normally I hate potatoes Au Gratin.
I also must reiterate that the chef buys all fresh produce from a local farm, Owens Farm in Holderness, NH. So the vegetables are always delicious and fresh, and you can support local growers while you enjoy them!
Please check out the Six-Burner Bistro in Plymouth, NH. I know you will not be disappointed!
