Buon Appetito

Thanks to Cath and the other Chowhounds who posted about Buon Appetito.
We were there quite early last night - before 5 - and luckily, they open at 4. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinners.

There is an early bird special - I think till 7 - for $19.95. (Someone should check my facts, but I think this is what it was.) It included soup or salad, choice of half a dozen entree courses, dessert and coffee. Main courses came with a side of pasta (delicious angel-haired pasta with a fresh-tasting tomato sauce) or vegetables. Dessert was a choice of any dessert, and many of them looked luscious. This is a real bargain!

For those ordering a la carte, salad comes with any entree. All the special prices are announced.

We ordered wine from a very reasonable wine list. There is also wine by the glass - 3.75 for 6 ounces and 5.50 (?) for 8 ounces, with several choices.

The appetizers, like the delicious garlicky polenta and the ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers, are definitely big enough for sharing.

The staff is warm and friendly, service is good, and this is a very pleasant place to be.

Thank you, Chowhounds!
