Bukowski's - Everybody is Scare to Say "Lower the Music"

Ok, I've heard the complaints – Bukowski’s in Inman Square just isn’t the same as the Dalton location; that they are becoming a chain, etc. and so on. I have to say, I quite like having 99 bottles on this side of the rivers. It isn’t the same “experience” but it is still a good addition to the neighborhood.

That said, I have to share my 2cents which everybody is talking about but no one is brave enough to speak up. I’m talking about the ridiculous volume the music. Nobody will say anything because we’re all afraid of being labeled “lame.” My bet is that they want to keep it up, a bit harsh to please the cool cat crowd. I say, forget, if we want to go hear music we’ll do it elsewhere. I come to your spot to enjoy brew, friends, neighbors and food that isn’t great, nor bad. The space is big, so it is a good place for a group, small or big. But with the too loud music socialization between mates is a no go! I’ll skip it next time and make it over to Redbones for an interesting beer.

Your thoughts?

P.S. The smoked beer is a nice winter drink!
