Remember Prive, another upper east side fiasco. Prive is private in French. So everyone thought it was private, and stayed away. After a short stay, it closed. Can a really private dining club make it in New York City today. Oh, by the way, Parioli Romanissimo was considered the most expensive Italian restaurant in New York City, so expensive that it eventually priced itself out of the market.
