I bought a brownie w/ strawberry pieces on top at a farmer's market in Asheville. It surprised me how good it was. Each piece of strawberry had caused a small pocket of slightly underbaked brownie (deliciously gooey) right beneath the berry. The berries themselves did not seem to be completely cooked.
So, do you think if I bake a batch of brownies and top w/ berry halves w/ maybe 1/2 the baking time left that would do the trick? By chance, has anyone seen a recipe like this?
