Tony Sindaco's whimsically appointed Sunfish Grill in Pompano Beach is a standout. His fish is day boat fresh and he is a master at preparation and execution.
Due to its popularity, reservations are a must.
Way out west in Coral Springs is Hobo's Fish Joint, where owner/chef Steve LeBiner offers nearly two dozen kinds of fish and flawlessly matches them with a variety of preparations and subtle sauces. Go early because the lines are long.
