I keep hearing good things about The Brook Tavern (former The Turf Club location) but have not been yet. Chef Lauren Ciaglo is a Rising Star Chef 2014 finalist.
Nothing came up when I searched this Board. The Yelp perspective:
Took a quick look at their menu. The Duck Confit, Kale Salad and Beet Salad; Shrimp Scampi Skillet all sound really good. Pierogi is spelled wrong on the menu and I'm a traditionalist, wouldn't eat nouveau pierogi, especially with sage. Take me to Greenpoint!
