My wife and I will be in town for Jazzfest (just one weekend) and will be doing most of our chowing at the fairgrounds, BUT we would like to spend one evening meal in a restaurant.
After reading these boards and talking with friends we've narrowed it down to Brigsten's and Upperline (have been to Commander's, Galatoire's, Emeriletc.,)
We'd love to hear from some NO savvy hounds - which would you choose and just as importantly, why?
While here, also thought I'd mention that we're looking forward to dining on some of Uggie's creations here in Philadelphia - Anthony will be in town for The Book and the Cook and we'll be joining him at the Sansom Street Oyster House in about 2 weeks. If they plan to be open during Jazzfest we may have to get ourselves over there somehow too.
