I recently stumbled across this product at a local store. I'd never heard of it before, and decided to take a chance with it. Very glad that I did.

It's somewhat similar to Gran Classico: a golden-colored liqueur in the amaro family. Heavy on the gentian, relatively bitter, but somewhat less sweet and viscous than Gran Classico.

I've been messing around a bit and am currently quite happy with the following combination:

1.5 oz Breckenridge Bitters
1 oz London Dry gin
0.75 oz Cynar

Stir, strain, and express some lemon zest over the top. Drop in the spent zest; I like the bit of extra bitterness it brings to the already fairly bitter drink.

Anyone else try this stuff? Any drink suggestions?
