Breadline-soft-shell crab report

shortorder | May 6, 2004 12:53 PM

As previously reported, Breadline (1751 Penn.) has softshell crab sandwiches on Thursday. I found it a longer walk than I expected, especially with various detours due to construction in front of the White House. Nevertheless, I arrived in time to put in my order at 11:42 a.m., and that was not too late. The sandwich was excellent, meaty, moist. Fries were good. I also enjoyed the small tin of creme brulee, $1.35. Total bill for lunch, about $15. Note to self: next Thursday, metro to Farragut West.
