Practically every restaurant you can think of offers some sort of bread/chipes, etc. when you sit down. I've been wondering that with so many peeople avoiding carbs, how will restaurants respond. Bread's cheap to give away, but protein is not. (Beef carpaccio for the table???)
Well I got my first answer last night at Zona Rosa in midtown (more on that later). Without us asking, the waiter brought over a basket of cucumber spears and a couple of orange slices. Tasty.
How are other restaurants coping with this???
