Bradley Ogden Review

I was really looking forward to my meal at Bradley Ogden this trip and had high expectations. I hate to say that I was not impressed. To start, the hostess was extremely snooty and was so "fake" that it was painful. To start I had a vegetable lemon soup with fried frog leg set on the edge of the bowl. The fried frog leg was great, the soup was just average. They also served three types of bread, a rustic white bread, a salty roll, and a garlic roll. They were served hot and were excellent. For dinner I had sturgeon with veal sweetbreads. The fish was a bit dry and not extremely favorful, and was very small. The sweetbreads were awful, very rubbery and nearly impossible to even cut, not at all smooth and velvety. The dessert menu was small and nothing sounded good, so I passed. My father only had the sturgeon and was not impressed either. The bill for two of us with one soup, two sturgeons and nothing else was about $110. I walked away feeling like I got ripped off. I have no problem spending good money for high quality food, but this was a joke.

I also ate at Makino, Lotus of Siam, Delmonico, Emeril's NO Fish House, Mesa Grill, Paris breakfast buffet, L'Atelier (tasting menu), Commander's Palace (Martini Lunch and Breakfast), and NobHill for drinks. I'll post reviews as soon as I get some time. If anyone wants a certain restaurant review first, let me know
