Thanks to reviews read on this board, we went very early so as not to have to wait and had a terrific experience at BB yesterday evening - our server was an absolute doll.
My husband is a meat and potatoes kind of guy and the only fish he eats is shrimp. The chef provided complimentary salad and mashed potatoes (incredibly good) for him and cut out scallops and squid on the phyllo crusted shrimp appetizer, giving him only the shrimp.
He had duck which he loved, and I followed our waiter's recommendations on the degustation menu (phyllo crusted shrimp appetizer with squid and scallops; rouget, rabbit, cold cantaloupe soup, hot chocolate souffle).
Every morsel (including the many bread choices and my one glass of white wine) was superb - a delightful, delicious, fun dining experience.
