last night for dinner, pretty good, if very very heavy.
i got the 10 hour hickory beef smoked short rib, with truffled mashed potatoes and whiskey pears and some of other greens, just a single great big Brobingdiangian size short rib with meating falling of the bone cradled in a bbq sauce (different than the cue sauce paired with the items on the bbq side of the menu). also, weirdly this was on the bistro side of the menu.
also, on teh menu was the mentioned before kobe beef burger with saint augur's or cheddar with an upgrade of foie gras if you so desire.
also, duck chile rellenos on the appetizer portions of the menu.
haven't tried the wine or beer lists, but looks good from Chateneuf du Pape to some Lycnh bages and red Bordeauxs, and some heavy hitter beers, maybe over a dozen or so in addition to the usual beer suspect like miller and newcastle.
