Since an interesting Manhattan cocktail has sprung up, I thought I'd enquire as to everyone's favorite bloody mary.
Personally I like spicy bloody maries that stay far away from the cheap taste of tobasco sauce and opt for the fresh horseradish approach and other spices.
The Mary at Mermaid Inn I had last week was very well prepared. And I'm also fond of the unusual one they do at Rocking Horse with mexican hot chilies (a very unsual flavor and very potent spice...I learned after the first time to NOT ask for it to be extra spicy).
