Pride of ownership is clear. This is a husband and wife team. There's a website, which can't really be needed because "nobody goes there, the place is always jammed".
The wife handles service and has a great deal of warmth. The crowd of people would have flustered alot of servers, she was completely happy to be among them - rare.
They have a seasonally varying soup. Cabbage during winter months, cucumber for summer. The menu is extensive, which is always a boggle, but this is handled well here because there's only one person at the stove.
The quality is certainly in line with the price. Flavors are full and authentic (I had a Turkish neighbor great cook) from my perspective. Coffee was executed with flair. Again, pride of ownership!
