I just tried a little bit of heaven

I am on a quest to find some great individual pastries to serve at our 50th anniversary party in October. I don't want the usual cake. I have tried the bakery at 99 Ranch on Del Mar and Valley. They are good. I tried Diamond Bakery. Not as good as 99 Ranch. Kind of dry. Then I remembered an article that I cut out of the Tribune some time ago about RJ Patisserie. There are two locations. We went to the Arcadia location. It is in a small strip mall inside of a food court. Very small bakery. The minute we walked in, I spotted the most beautiful cakes and knew I was on to something. We ordered a chocolate mousse, a mango and a mixed fruit tart. They are all so beautifully decorated. The minute we got into the car, we pulled out the chocolate and I took the first bite. I thought I died and went to heaven. It was a deep chocolate outside and a creamy delicious very chocolate mousse inside. My honey, who is not as prone to going into moans of ecstasy with food had to let out a sigh of delight when he finally got his bite. I had to pull it away from him and put it back into the box since we were on our way to Tops for a Kobe burger and I didn't want him to overdose. We haven't tried the other two yet but I can only say there is no where to go but up farther into heaven when we sink our choppers into those little charms. I say to anyone who is looking for something very special, give this bakery a try. I don't think it will dissapoint. (Not cheap tho').
