Went to Bistro 189 this weekend and while the 3 of us had the same thing (caesar salad and crab cakes - so needless to say we didn't sample the breadth of their menu)for dinner all three chose a different dessert.
Mine was an unusual bread pudding made with cinnamon croissants! Quite yummy with a vanilla bourbon sauce - I think I chose the best out of the 3 desserts (tiramisu and chocolate almond cheesecake being the others).
Dinner was good, I think next time I would choose a dinner offering rather than 2 appetizers. We ate our salads first, then the crab cakes were brought out so you didn't the variety of flavors which I think I would prefer.
