Was strolling through Northbeach last night. My all time favorite neighborhood. Cappucino Grande at Trieste and a good book, then some chocolate caramels from candy store with all the barrels (for the S.O.), and a Raspberry Ring from the little bakery on Columbus (not Stella, they were closed). Yumola.
Anyway, saw a couple of restaurants that looked interesting and wanted to see if anyone has an opinion. I'm looking for a nice place, not too expensive, that I haven't been to yet, for a quiet dinner in Northbeach for two.
Haven't been to Mangarosa or El Raigon or (embarrassingly) Cafe Jacqueline.
Any opinions on these three? Any other recs for similar places? In the $$ range, not the $$$$ range.
I've been to Ideale, Macarroni, Rose Pistola, Moose's, Stinking Rose, US Cafe, Michealangelo, Il Polliao.
Thanks in advance.
