What a great pit stop. I know it's been mentioned before, but my friend and I really enjoyed our meal from here last night.
Texas Brisket: tender, smokey and succulent, ooozing onto the cheap white bread
Baked beans: I would be happy to eat them on their own for lunch; they were fresh, tomato based, lively, with mild chilies.
Potato salad was a very pale pink; was this from a light scattering of Old bay, along with fresh tarragon? Maybe someone else can tell me. Not an orthodox Q potato salad, but what the hell.
Pulled pork sandwich: yes it was a little dry, but that great porky flavor, with the tartness of vinegar
Collards were worth a try too.
So if you're in North East Baltimore, stop by the little yellow house on Harford Road.
