Bento Box in southwest HB: short review.

This isn't a great find, but since HB is such a culinary wasteland (i know that there are exceptions) i thought i'd share this with you. Plus I drive by this daily and just saw it after being open for 2 months (it's hard to see from the street)

Bento Box:
9921 Hamilton Ave. in the ralph's center on brookhurst

Really clean, well lit, bright colors, extremely friendly staff. You probably have had a Bento Box before, if not it's food packaged "cutely" in a box.

A typical meal comes with fruit, rice, side salad and edamame.

I had the Veggie Tempura and it was good great value for 4.99$. They have Chicken, Meat, and Fish including Salmon cooked 3 ways, grilled saba (mackrel) and fried oysters. They also have assorted appetizers and a small selection of sushi rolls. i'll go back soon and try the fish.

it's just a nice change of pace from the various fast food locations down brookhurst in HB.
