Beacon eatery

I found a great little quirky eatery in the up-and-coming art community of Beacon, NY. It's called Augie's Good-to-Go and it has creative paninis/sandwiches, amazing barbeque and delightful desserts, to name just a few thigs...

I sampled the very authentic Cuban sandwich, roast pork, ham, pickle, cheese, mustard and mayo, yum, as well as pork ribs that would make Fred Flintstone blush. The chocolate cake was a hunk of sin and the shrimp and corn bisque was not cloyingly thick like so many are. Last trip I had the crispy asian glazed chicken, 1/2 a chicken with a tangy sweet glaze and cilantro, very delicious.

Can't wait to go back! Make a special trip, it's worth it.
