I'm planning dinner for a Monday birthday after a packed weekend of food events. It will be just two of us, we're looking forward to a chance to connect and relax together as well as celebrate his birthday.
Monday's not a great restaurant night, and we'll have had great Italian food already over the weekend. I know he's jonesing for sushi. Is this a bad idea on a Monday? Is there a great place for chirashi in SF? I'm pregnant and watching which raw fish I eat, so this will give him a chance to enjoy some variety. I'd like a place where we don't have to be regulars to enjoy good treatment. What about KISS Seafood, or is that better for the chef's menu?
If sushi is a bad idea for Monday, any ideas for a cozy, don't break the bank, not too heavy nor Italian dinner in SF? I'm out of ideas...
