Bar_One lunch

I just came back from lunch at Bar_One, 924 Queen West. It was quite pleasant, the food was very tasty. Server was knowledgable, gave accurate descriptions of the food and good recommendations. The offered bread was fresh and chewy. I got the 'bar one pizza' on whole wheat crust - tomatoes, jalapeno pepper, anchovies. Sparse toppings on a large, thin crust, which is how I like it. However, I do wish they would list the cheese, at least what type it was. My g-friend had the vegetarian sandwich, which was bursting with portabello mushrooms, goat cheese, eggplant and zucchini, stuffed in a toasted wrap. I should have asked for a try, but we were engrossed in conversation. The sandwich was about $8 and quite filling, the pizza was $12 ($10 with a white crust). I have half the pizza for lunch tomorrow and am stuffed. I'm glad I finally went to try it. I'd like to say I would try it for dinner, but still have so many other places to try first.
