I returned from a weekend out of town Sunday night, abit late for most restaurants in the South Slope. It seemed just the opportunity to try the new menu at Bar Toto, the new name of Luce at 11th Street and 6th Ave.
As someone has posted, everything is $10 and under. There are burgers, individual pizzas, pastas, pannini and various daily specials. I had a sausage pannini, which came with a pile of fries. Anne had penne with pesto, olives and raddicio. Everything was quite good. A bottle of beer was $4, a glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was $6.
It seems like the change was for the better: this seems like a good spot for a light tasty meal. I expect to be stopping by more often.
