First time visit. The beef pho was hot and hearty and noodly. Perhaps lacking a little of the exotic complexity of the pho broths I remember in Seattle amonmg other places, but eminently satisfaying. The bahn mi (I had the grilled shrimp) was just the right size, with all the requisite counterpoints of hot-cold, sweet-savory, sharp-bland, crunchy-soft. I asked for it spicy and was happy to find a bounty of tiny halved red chilis. The soup-sandwich combo was ten bucks, I think, and beats the hell out of virtually every other such combo anywhere.
The coffee, though a tad heavy on the condensed milk, was good, and the black rice pudding with mango sorbet was ok.
Will return soon for further exploration.
