Hello Charm City Chowhounders!.
Once again I call upon your culinary charity! I am writing a small piece for City Paper's upcoming EAT dining supplement and my assigned topic is bread pudding. It's a dream assignment -- I adore bread pudding -- but a very short deadline so only a minimum amount of research is possible, alas!
SO, anybody like bread pudding? WHere is it good? I like Donna's version quite a bit. Just revisited McCabe's, which I once gave a Best of Baltimore award, and it was a tad disappointing -- good but not great as remembered. Any advice, opinions and bread pudding philosophy appreciated, any leads enthusiastically followed!
