We could not be more excited to spend our babymoon in Paris this upcoming October! We will be staying in Paris for 4 nights, Wed - Sun., and expect the trip to be one of romance, relaxation and elegant, delicious food. (Read: long, leisurely dining sessions with pitch-perfect service.) We will have 1-2 "big" dinners, and 2 lunches (taking advantage of the phenomenal prix-fixe options.) Please help me finalize our itinerary below.
Le Cinq - Lunch (This is a definite. Reminds me of EMP, perhaps more luxurious. Cheese is a must?)
Guy Savoy or Taillevent - Lunch. I know these are so different, but Taillevent may not happen for dinner. Many reviews note that the food @ Guy Savoy is not as "stand-out." What makes the restaurant special?
Taillevent or Pierre Gagnaire - Dinner (any "must have" dishes on the ALC menu?) I'm leaning towards Pierre Gagnaire. However, we're huge fans of Daniel in NYC. Yes, it's not avant-garde - we love it for it's classic perfection.
Other contenders: L'Astrance (not too many comments on this - thoughts? Where could it fit into our itinerary?) L'Atelier de Joel Rubuchon (Should we stick to NY?)
Also, any suggestions for semi-casual, romantic dinner spots (perhaps in an area akin to West Vill.) are welcomed. We expect to have light dinners after our big lunches, so ambiance will be extremely important.
