Finally made it here after reading some good things in recent years. WOW, it was really excellent. Staff is very gracious and welcoming.
We had two of the kebabs, ground and spiced and filet, and they were excellent. The star at the table, IMO, was my butterflied and grilled brook trout, intensely smoky and very richly seasoned. Seasoining here is intense, complex at times, really stands apart from the usual, IMO, especially on that fish. Could not get enough.
Instead of rice, we had grilled veggies as sides, and they, too, were smoky off the grill, a really nice assortment of whole plum tomato, onion, peppers and zucchini sticks. Bread was grilled, very good, too.
our apps were a greaseless sigara stuffed with feta and herbs, excellent, and eggplant slices topped with what tasted like Italian marinara (very good, just unexpected) and yogurt sauce.
Cannot wait to return, we thought the meal was outstanding.
