Just had the omakase meal here. and it was pretty good, the chu-toro i had was excellent, truly melted in the mouth goodness, they got some real good quality toro here, everything else here is pretty good too, and it's pretty darn traditional in most respects even though it's been tagged with the word "fushion" on this here board.
anyways, we had:
lobster tempura, with some crab, wrapped in nori, then wrapped in rice paper.
an oyster shooter w/ sake and then a oyster with some sort of salsa riding shotgun (so to preparations of kumamoto oysters).
then on to sushi (all one piece, except the chutoro which had we had three of since they were so damn delicious).
blue fina tuna sushi.
japanese red snapper sushi.
yellowtail belly sushi.
kobe beef sushi, this was darn delicious too, but played second fiddle to the chutoro.
blue crab handroll w/ avocado.
i think that's it, i may be missing one piece or so.
and gree tea ice cream to finish.
nice addition to the neighborhood, where truly there is not much genuine sushi eats. and the joint is like cheers since there are a lot of regular customers.
oh, and the woman sushi chefs is a rare thing, but these women truly know their stuff.
