So I didn't realize that Hotel Indigo was a chain hotel (IC Hotels Group) but was curious about their Bistro/Bar. Very spare and modern area that is just off the main lobby. I' wasn't crazy about the decor - sort of urban chic meets garage but that could just have been the polished carpetless concrete floors and odd color choices w/ chairs and settees. It is very definitely not a restaurant menu and food is more on the order of heavy bar food like Sante Wine bar i.e cheese plates, salads, and sandwiches. Good assortment of wines w/ reasonable per glass prices from $6-9ish. I thought the food was sort of expensive for what you got. Cheese plate was heavy on the crackers and light on the cheese and the Grilled vegetable plate had barely any vegetables to mention and again, heavy on the crackers...for $10-$11 each I thought they were overpriced compared to similar offerings at other establishments and not all that great. Initially service seemed a bit scattered but once they "found" us we were waited on attentively. I understand they are featuring various nightly drink specials so I might return to try another plate or two and a drink.
