the post below got me thinking. I'd really like to get some good food of this type, but I don't really know anaywhere that has it.

STuff I'm looking for:

veal wienershintzel
a boiled beef dish with apple horseradish sauce.
spaetzle,
quark dumplings.
possibly ghoulash.
dobosh tortes
chesntutt mousse.
strudels.
of course schlag (delicous shclag) or the bestest whipped cream.
other pastries of course too.

i know this isn't light cuisine, but i can wait to go to other cities if there's nothing good to pretty good in the LA parts. (I've heard New York now has maybe a half dozen joints that serve this kind of cuisine, along with a chef that owns about 3-4 of those joints, plus an only dessert place in a museum of german art, maybe it's the cold weather).

but anyways, anyone know of any places?
