My husband and I dined at Aubergine Bistro Friday the 16th because we had a gift certificate . What a wonderful meal we had that I just had to write a post about it. More people need to check this little bistro out.
We started off with the Pan-Seared Sea Scallops. They were perfectly cooked and the Chardonnay cream sauce was wonderful, I wish I still had bread left over to scoop it up. Also the crispy prosciutto that was scattered around was also a perfect compliment to the rest of the dish.
For our entrees, I had the beef bourguignon and my husband ordered the Pork Medallions. The beef in my dish was perfectly cooked, super tender I cut it with my fork. It was like a over the top, rich, beef pot roast; perfect for a rainy night. My husbands pork medallions also cooked perfectly, you could cut it with a butter knife and the Calvados sauce that accompanied it was amazing.
For desert we took home the bread pudding. We were told the chef's mother makes the deserts. The bread pudding was the perfect end to our perfect meal.
Can't say enough about this place. I will definitely be back. Especially to take advantage of their 2 entrees for $19.95 menu.
