My boyfriend and I went there for the first time, on Saturday and had a great experience. It's my understanding (according to other threads) that the current location - 6th Street between Congress and Colorado - across from Ruth Chris - is their 2nd location.
The restaurant is spacious with a high ceiling. The bar is nice and fairly large. There is a side, outdoor patio that features a beautiful belly dancer and very good Greek music duo. There were more folks seated outside than inside, but we chose to sit/eat at the bar. The bartender was very kind and attentive.
We started with Dolmas which were served warm with a feta cream sauce that was wonderful. I've only had dolmas cold but now I'm a huge fan of eating them when they are warm. Each of our entrees came with a nice size Greek side salad that was very fresh. My boyfriend ordered the Lamb Kabobs served with rice, which he loved. I thought the meat had kind of a propane type taste, but he was perfectly happy with it. The lamb was very tender and juicy. I had the Mousaka which was wonderful. It was served with steamed veggies (cauliflower, carrots and broccoli). The veggies were still firm and that's the way I like them. There was some sort of vinaigrette dressing over the veggies. Our food was served with warm, soft pita triangles. This pita must have been homemade because it wasn't your typical Phonecia Pita that is on the tough/chewy side with a coating of flour that sticks to your lips.
According to the bartender (and other threads) they have a very popular lunch menu. The belly dancer/Greek band only perform on Friday and Saturday nights.
We'll be back, no doubt about it. Please give them a try if you are looking for authentic Greek food served in a nice atmosphere. Prices are moderate.
