Artist Point is the fine dining restaurant in Disney's Wilderness Lodge and I went on Christmas day 2007. I had the Crispy Venison Spring Rolls and the Buffalo Steak, my family members had combinations of the smoked portobello soup, the salad with blackberry vinaigrette as well as the planked salmon. The meal was without question a mixed bag. Being that it was christmas it was sort of a mini cookie cutter meal, the salmon which my mom had had before and loved was bland, tasteless, and small, but the soup and salad were very good and quite unique. The venison, which unfortunately was only only two spring rolls was extremely good and both my parents agreed that this was the first time they ever actually enjoyed the taste of deer meat. The buffalo was fantastic, it was so tender, extremely tasty, and it went perfectly with the caramelized onions and sweet potatoes; unfortunately, it was also beyond tiny, couldn't have been more than 6 ounces at most. While the meal was extremely overpriced for the quantity of food, the majority of it except for the salmon was very very tasty, I wish I had the capabilities to make the venison and buffalo like they did.
