OK....I have been to mostly every Greek restaurant in NYC since I love the food. Decided to walk into Ammos last night and give it a try. From the second we got there at 8PM the service was wonderful. The manager and host could not do enough for us and sat us right away at a great table. Our waiter was great too. Appetizers were a salad and the grilled octopus which was so yummy. Main course was the grilled Bronzino and the prepared Chilean Sea Bass in a nice tomato sauce. During the meal, I had a Pinot Grigio and they brought wonderful dessert wine on the house (I think they poured me 2 glasses). We also had desserts which were wonderful. The yogurt with fruit, nuts and honey and a walnut cake with ice cream.
I look forward to going back as the atmosphere, service and food made for a very nice night.
